DESCRIPTION:The Lake Placid Jaycees are proud to once again put on the Town of Lake Placid fireworks show. This year the show will take place on July 4th at 9pm over Lake June. \nFor 40 years the Lake Placid Jaycees have raised money for the annual Independence Day fireworks show. Each year the Jaycees raise more than $10\,000.00 to provide the fireworks display. \nAs always\, any donations to help offset the costs of the fireworks are greatly appreciated. This year community donations will play a vital part as the donation amount received from the town has been cut due to recreational budget cuts. \nDonations can be made by clicking here\, dropped of to the Lake Placid Chamber office\, or mailed to PO Box 2490\, Lake Placid\, FL 33862.
