Bill was recently hospitalized for Cardiomyopathy/congested heart failure. A scan later revealed Leiomysarcoma\, a very rare form of cancer\, on his pancreas that has metastasized to his liver. He is currently receiving at Moffitt Cancer Center and Tampa General for his heart failure.\nBill is married to a local emergency room nurse\, and father of three young children. Let’s come together as a community and support this family.

DESCRIPTION:This month’s auction benefits PAWsitive Effects. PAWsitive Effects\, Inc. is a non profit organization created by Gini & Steve Shevick. Their mission is to help local shelters and rescues so that they have the resources to continue to care for and rescue animals from bad situations\, high kill shelters or otherwise would suffer without their help. You can learn more about this amazing charity by visiting their Facebook page or pawsitiveeffects.org. \nDoors will open to the public at 6pm. Please no early birds the vendors are still setting up. The auction will start at 7pm.\nSaunders Second Chances will be serving ham and cheese sliders\, potato salad\, beverage\, and dessert for $6. This will benefit their spay and neuter program. We want to thank Leslie from Hope Haven for preparing the food each month and Nancy Young for donating yummy desserts.\nOur vendors will have cash and carry items\, samples and table raffles.\nPaddles are $3 and we will have our 50/50 and special raffle.\nWear RED and/or bring USA Made pet food\, treats\, or toys to receive up to two special raffle tickets.\nWear any cause bracelet and earn one special raffle ticket.\nIf you purchase from a vendor at the auction you receive one free 50/50 ticket\, one per a vendor.\nBring plenty of quarters\, some cash and a bunch of friends for a fun night for a great cause!\nReminder our events are for 18 and older.

DESCRIPTION:Swim Team Fundraiser \nCome join us at the Sebring High School pool on August 17th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm to try scuba diving and support the Sebring High School swim and dive team! If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to scuba dive\, or want to discover a new hobby\, this is your chance! \nSessions will run every 20-30 minutes with 1-3 people per session. Sessions will start at 9am. Time Slot sign up is first come first serve. \nAt the “Try Scuba” event you will get to work in small groups with one of our NAUI certified instructors who each have many years of experience. They will teach you about the gear involved\, how to put it together\, how to breathe underwater\, and then swim with you underwater as you scuba! \nThe Process: You will walk into a controlled underwater environment at a shallow depth of 4 feet. From there your instructor will take you to the deeper part of the pool at about 12 feet in depth. In this part you and your group will take a great souvenir photo and then you get to swim back to the shallow part where you will have then completed your very first dive! \nRequirements: You must be at least 10 years old and in good health. You will also be asked to sign a Liability Waiver. \nPreregister by August 7th by marking yourself as ‘going’ on the event page and get prepayments to Coach Caton at SHS! It’s that easy! If you preregister\, you can try scuba for just $35 Donation! \nThe CASH donation cost after August 8th or at the gate is $50. Normally “Try Scuba” would cost you $100 but through this event you get to try scuba for half the price! \nBy trying scuba with us\, not only will you be getting to essentially breathe underwater\, but you will also be supporting the SHS Swim and Dive team.* Come live out your dream and help our Blue Streaks at the SHS “Try Scuba” event sponsored by Under Pressure Sports. \nDon’t forget to Share! The more the merrier.
