Horses of Course
October 2, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Running horses and like animals are beautiful, graceful creatures to watch move, but tricky to capture on paper. Join artist Mary Lou Herald as she teaches the basic skills of capturing horses and animals whose movements and poses have much to do with the understanding and study of anatomy and placement and proportion of joints (circles) and bones (lines), adding muscles to give shape, hooves and head. This simple to follow 3-hour class will cover the basics, providing examples, demonstration, and one-on-one as well as small group instruction that will allow you to move to the next step in creating realistic drawings from the animal world.
