Raisin’ Cane Festival

Cut your own sugarcane stalks and make your own sugarcane juice Nov. 22-23 at Sugar Sand Distillery from 11AM-6PM each day. Don’t miss our first Raisin’ Cane Festival where you can harvest your own sugarcane stalks on-site, we will squeeze the juice from your stalks, and you can take home your very own sugarcane juice. Sugarcane juice is rich in iron, magnesium, calcium and other electrolytes so it’s great for dehydration. It helps cure the common cold and other infections and also fight fever as it boosts the body’s protein levels. It is great in tea, as syrup, or age it and make sugarcane vinegar. Squeeze as much or as little as you like. Just $1/stalk. One stalk makes 1/5 gallon. Be sure to bring your own jar or jug to put the juice in. While here, enjoy complimentary tastings of our products. On Saturday, Nov. 23, we will also have a food truck on site and live music. Hope to see you all soon!
