Santa, The Grinch, Jack Frost, and more for a fun weekend!

Have you been hearing those sleigh bells ring? Got your lights and tree up already? It’s going to be another weekend packed full of holiday cheer!
This Friday will be the 13th, a Nightmare Before Christmas for those of superstitious beliefs. In honor of Friday the 13th, Black Market Tattoo is hosting tattoo specials to go along with their Santa Toy Drive! They will have hot cocoa and holiday desserts; pick from over 100 themed designs for a tattoo, each will be a $20 minimum; and don’t forget to bring a toy that will be donated to our local Parkway Ministries, Inc.
Let it Snow! Friday night, come down to E. Center Ave in Downtown Sebring to kick off Cinema on the Circle with some snow! Snow will fall from 7pm-8pm and then at 8pm, The Grinch will start as our movie of the month! Have some sweet treats from on of our local shops, grab a couple last minute Christmas gifts, and enjoy the night with the whole family!
Get up early Saturday, December 14 to have Breakfast with Jack Frost at the Highlands Art League! From 9-11am, ages 2-12 will be awestruck as they watch Jack weave a winter wonder, sprinkling magic atop your little ones holiday season. Enjoy arts and crafts, story time, and breakfast with cocoa! Ready for some adult arts and crafts? Saturday, at 4pm, head down to Sebring Signs & Promotions for their Art Workshop and enjoy a two class combo making ornaments and a square wreath. Alcohol ink, paint, glitter, and filling your home with Christmas cheer! Supplies, light snacks, and wine will be provided. The class will be $40.
You’ve had fun in Avon Park and Sebring, now it’s Lake Placid’s turn! Head on down to the Lake Placid Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14 at 7pm. A spectacular display of holiday cheer promises to delight everyone, young and old! See the businesses, dance companies, bands, and so much more that make up our community putting on an amazing show of Christmas spirit!
Let’s continue our giving spirit this Sunday at 5pm! Faded Bistro & Beer Garden will be hosting the Four Realms Fashion Show to benefit The Sebring Angels. This fashion show is inspired by Victoria Secret fashion and themed for The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Models will show off stunning outfits, which will be auctioned off at the end of the night, as well as they will be walking with one of ten adoptable dogs as their escorts. Buy tickets at Faded Bistro & Beer Garden or Mon Cirque Wine Bar. For added flair, wear your own Four Realms inspired outfit!
