Weekend Roundup
Happy Fall, y’all! We hope you all have had a fantastic week and we also want to ensure you have a fun-filled weekend!
We’re all pretty eager for a little feel of autumn, so while we’re waiting on the weather, come on down to The Palms of Sebring Apple Fall Festival. Starting on Thursday and runs through Saturday, this is an event you don’t want to miss! You’ll be able to shop seasonal gifts, holiday decor, a variety of fall flavored goodies, and the ever famous apple dumplings! Trust us, the apple dumplings alone would be worth it! Click HERE for times and more information!
Ready to be SCARED TO DEATH?! The Humane Society of Highlands County is hosting their largest fundraiser of the year, Terror Trail! Beginning Friday, September 27 and running every Friday and Saturday through October. The trail will open at dark and promises to thrill! Venture through The Pig Pit, Toxic Clowns, The Mad House, and so many more bloodcurdling experiences. Click HERE to find more information. Will you make it out alive or will you be Scared To Death?
Want an excuse to dress up? Come to the Nu-Hope Speakeasy Soiree Friday night, September 27 at the Sebring Civic Center. We’re going back in time to the Roaring Twenties with live music, gaming, a photo booth, cash bar, raffle prizes, and so much more! All proceeds will go to better senior and caregiver services here in our community. So ladies, get out those flapper dresses, and gents, get out your best gangster suit! Check HERE for more info!
Have dancers in the family, ages 5 and up? Bring them out to the Cinderella Ballet Auditions at the Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, September 28. Audition fees are $10 and, if cast, your child will be dancing with professionals from the South Carolina Ballet on March 7th. Please click HERE to see times and dress code.
Eager to get out of town and enjoy a fun shopping experience? The Lakeland Punk Rock Flea Market will be Sunday, September 29 from noon to 6pm! There are a ton of vendors selling jewelry, band shirts, records, oddities, and so much more! While you’re there, listen to live music, eat from the best food trucks in town, and of course enjoy a drink or two! Hosted by Swan Brewing, this is sure to be a one-of-a-kind market! Check out their event on Facebook HERE to see more!
